Maintainence

Upon receiving your topper, we suggest taking a few moments to straighten the base by gently applying pressure to the roots. This step will help to smooth out any bumps that may have occurred during packaging, ensuring a more natural fit. With continued wear, the topper will begin to conform to the shape of your head and sit more seamlessly. Don't worry if it feels a bit unfamiliar at first - our toppers are designed to provide a comfortable, natural-looking solution to hair thinning, and with a bit of patience and adjustment, you'll be amazed at how great your hair looks and feels.

How To Apply: Begin by matching the topper's parting with your own hair part. Next, take the adjustable strap ends and loop them at the back of your head (optional). Stretch the clips and secure them to avoid any unwanted bumps. Finally, carefully comb through the sides of the topper to cover the strap, creating a flawless, polished finish.

Cleaning: Frequent wash is not required for toppers. But when you wash your topper, use a gentle shampoo. Rinse off under running water, then apply a moisturizing conditioner, all over and leave it in for 10 minutes. Wash it off and air dry just like your natural hair.

What’s the difference between Silk & Lace Toppers?

Silk toppers exhibit a scalp-like appearance due to their parting design, which prevents visible hair knots. Alternatively, the knots and lace of lace toppers are visible when viewed up close. The silk toppers consist of two layers of netting, with each individual strand knotted onto the bottom layer of the lace and pulled through a top layer of fine nylon, which resembles silk. This intricate process is time-consuming and makes them look seamless. In contrast, the lace toppers are fashioned from a single layer of lace with knotted hair, making them a more cost-effective option.

All of our hair toppers are created in-house, starting from scratch. The bases of our toppers are thoughtfully designed with consideration for the various areas of hair loss. Our toppers are unlike the standard PU-based toppers commonly found in the market. What size of hair topper should I go in for?

The size of the topper you pick depends on your area of hair thinning. The best way to ensure you get the right size is by measuring the area of concern and getting a topper that is an inch or two wider than that so that you can grip the topper to your hair properly.

Will the hair topper damage my existing hair?

If the hair topper is securely attached without causing any tension to the natural hair, there is no cause for concern. However, for those with fragile hair follicles that may experience discomfort from the clip-in attachment, we strongly advise the use of our adjustable band. This would effectively reduce pressure on the natural roots while ensuring a secure fit for the hair topper.

How do I wear the hair topper? What is the adjustable band?

All of our toppers are equipped with clip fasteners for easy attachment. Simply press the sides of the clip to open, position the topper in your hair, and securely fasten by pressing the sides of the clip to close.

If you opt for our adjustable band, there's no need to clip the front clips. Instead, adjust the band by pulling the silver balls to fit your head size and hook it at the back of your head. Be sure to style the sides to conceal the invisible band. Our adjustable band is a great solution for those who prefer not to wear front clips or have weak hair roots. It provides a flat foundation and alleviates pressure from your natural roots while securely holding the topper in place.
